The society, with the apt motto of ' Break out your shell' has provided young talented minds to showcase their talent. Through motivation and shill enhancing the society has strived towards the overall development of the student's personality.

The Debating society was founded by Sunanda Khaitan of BCA and faculty member Mr. Manish Kumar Singh in the year 2000 with the logo proposed by Abhishek Kumar. Since its foundation over the years it has brought in the forefront many outstanding orators and imbibed in the students a sense of self worth by inculcating various events in its agency has promoted public speaking among the students. 'CATALYST' is one of the most popular events organized by Debating Society which comprises of writer test, group discussion, personal interview for MBA aspirants of our college, it gives a first hand experience to them about CAT and has met with resounding success over the last 3 years.

Today the society comprises of 12 member team being headed by the President Swati Sinha and Vice president Bhavana Singh. The P.G. coordinator Saurav Roy is an effective contributor to the society.
